Miniature Crochet for The Serious Miniature Collector

1998 Received it back from my Parents, mold, spiders

Many years pass.......actually 8!
I ask about the house and the possibility of shipping it down. I get a great big, "We would love to send it to you! It's filthy and been in the bottom of the closet for years." I was terrified at what it would look like. So here it comes via Fed-Ex for over $200.00 as it was so large and heavy. That was outrageous, shame on Fed-Ex!

September 1998 ~ It arrives and in desperate need of affection and tender care. Wallpapers are all stained and chair rail curling up, all the edging and roof shingles torn off, the copper tape electrical tape was all green from oxidation. Here it may not look all that bad, but it really was worse. This picture was after I removed much of the old wallpapers and disgusting chair rail. I had always kept the furniture with me where ever I moved to, but much of it had broken from time and the glues drying out. It seemed like I was going to have to start over...
