Welcome to the Medford Doll House, cir. 1985

This is the Medford House, no longer available for purchase anywhere...and I am priviledged enough to have one.

I love this house, it's a big one, measuring 32 inches in width, 22 inches deep, and 27 1/2 inches tall. That may not sound big to some of you out there, but to me, it's perfect.

I always wanted a house like this one and after many years of waiting....finally! I received it back in 1984, for Christmas from my parents with a huge red bow on top. Unpainted but assembled for the most part.

It's one of my prized posessions and I could never sell it for so many sentimental reasons...I only hope that when I die, there's a way to take it with me.  *grin*

It was recently (1998-1999) restored and refurnished into how you see it here.

It's not done, though it may look it, and anyway a dollhouse is ever really done anyway... Right?
